COVID POLICY

PENMERE MANOR HOTEL (Updated January 2022)

 Although Face Masks are now no longer mandatory, as we are a small independent hotel we would still appreciate guests to wear masks when moving around the public areas, to protect both our guests and staff.

All staff will still be required to wear masks.

 

Our Request to you:

Do not visit the hotel if you or any member of your household is suffering from symptoms associated with Covid 19.

IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF ALL GUESTS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL COULD TAKE A LATERAL FLOW TEST PRIOR TO DEPARTING FROM HOME.

Sanitise your hands on entering the hotel

All the team will:

Be fully COVID 19 aware

Sanitise hands prior to entering hotel

Wear adequate personal protective clothing for their role as is deemed appropriate

Adhere to social distancing and safe practices

Frequent hand washing

To protect our staff and customers, all staff will have lateral flow tests twice a week.

 

Check In / Check Out:-

Check in will be available from 3pm onwards, please do not arrive any earlier.

For the majority of bookings the first nights’ accommodation will have been taken as a deposit, and our cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival, the remaining balance for accommodation you will be required to settle in full on arrival.

The cost of breakfast is included for all room rates, however all food and drinks will need to be paid for either at the bar or in the restaurant, as you will not be able to charge to your room accounts.

Check out will be at 10.00am prompt, and your hotel accommodation bill will be emailed on the morning of your departure, so please ensure that we have the correct email address for you.

A key card box system will be implemented at reception to save transfer between hands for all keycards to be placed on departure.  Box will be sanitized as well as key cards when handled.

 

Your Bedroom:-

Bedrooms will be fully sanitised before arrival with adherence to stringent cleaning protocols.

Bedrooms will be serviced daily, with a linen change on the 4th morning of your stay, should you prefer for housekeeping not to enter your room daily then please let reception know.

May we request please that guests leave the rooms vacant for when housekeeping come to service the rooms.

 

Breakfast:-

Breakfast is served from 7.00am until 9.00am daily and from 8.00am until 10.00am on Sundays

 

Dining:

Evening meals are served between 6.30pm until 9.00pm, should you wish to dine in either the bar or restaurant, please book with reception.

We are fortunate to have spacious, airy rooms and a large patio area – so we are able to position tables quite spaciously.

Service and the placing of orders is available at the bar, however we would request that once you have placed your order and taken your drinks that you move away from the bar.

Room Service is not available at the present time.

 

Takeaway Food:

We would prefer please that no takeaway foods are brought into the Hotel bedrooms.  However should you do so please ensure that all food packaging / boxes are brought to either the reception, bar or restaurant in order for them to be disposed of.

 

Swimming Pool and Gym

Leisure facilities are open from 7am until 9pm daily and we would request that to stop the changing rooms from being over crowded, we would request guests to change ready for exercise in their rooms where possible.
